The Eagle in Plymouth opened its doors following a £125k investment by pub owners, Punch.

The new look Eagle has undergone a transformation making it a great pub for the local community. Work has breathed new life into the pub with new frontage, full redecoration and new furnishings throughout.

The Eagle is the perfect place for friends and family to meet for good food, drink and entertainment. Now boasting five TV screens, including the newly installed 75inch screen, the Eagle will host all key sporting events throughout the year.

The pub reopened with Publican, Emily Gardiner at the helm. Emily has worked at the pub for 10 years and is excited about the future, “The pub looks great and I cannot wait to welcome back customers old and new. The Eagle has always been central to the community and we can’t wait for everyone to come and see the new look pub, try out the new menu and really enjoy their time with us”.

The pub has a new all-day menu featuring all the pub favourites. There will be something for everyone to enjoy and plenty of offers for customers to take advantage of everyday of the week.

Following the refurbishment, Punch Development Manager, Lisa Smart, “We are extremely pleased with the new look pub that has been created here. We are looking forward to working with Emily and have every confidence that this fantastic community pub will go from strength to strength.’’

Punch owns around 1,300 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales and is investing £32 million in its pub estate in the next year working with the best Publicans to build and grow fantastic community pubs.
