The Harp reopens following £126,000 transformation

The Harp pub, located at the heart of Abergele, has reopened following a £126,000 investment, with new Publican Kevin Williams taking the helm.

This transformational  investment has given this lovely pub a new lease of life whilst retaining all its original character and charm. Inside the pub has a new and improved layout to maximise space for customers. The facilities have been upgraded together with newly upholstered furniture and warm carpets throughout. Restoration of the original timber flooring and traditional pub accents have breathed new life into this lovely pub.

Outside the pub has been redecorated and has new signage and lighting yet the beer garden is the real showstopper. It has been completely re-landscaped and now has space for up to 60 customers. It boasts new timber furniture, beautiful planters and a stunning new pergola that allows customers to enjoy the garden even in the unpredictable welsh weather.

When speaking about the investment Kevin says, “We are thrilled to safely welcome customers old and new back to the Harp. I am so fond of this pub and its unique spirit and charm and am so happy with the investment, the pub looks fantastic. We have exciting plans to bring the community together for Summer Fun Days, Charity Events, BBQ’s and I can’t wait to connect with the local people and hear what they think of their new look pub and garden”.

Punch’s operations director Neil Dawson says, “This is a significant investment by Punch in a unique community pub and we are really happy with the new look created here. With our new Publican, Kevin at the helm, who brings a wealth of experience in hospitality, we are confident that the Harp will continue to operate at the very heart of the community it serves.”

The Harp has reopened with a traditional pub food menu. It prides itself on its epic customer service, quality drinks, including Cask Ales and it now boasts a stunning Gin Bar. Kevin is also looking forward to booking live entertainment when it is safe to do so.
