Business Support Assistant

Working within our awesome Business Support team, the role has the responsibility of providing high-quality support to Field Operations, Property and Support Centre based teams, ensuring first-class customer service, which will enable them to maximise pub profitability.

Key Accountabilities


  • Committing to outstanding Customer Service through the provision of multi-skilled admin support i.e. raising purchase orders, approving invoices, property compliance tasks, dealing with queries, administration of Appian based processes
  • To deliver ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Business Support Leadership team and provide cover in other areas of the department where required


  • Providing general administrative assistance to the field teams to support in driving profit growth
  • To positively communicate Punch business processes to our customers, both internal and external


  • To actively build and maintain strong working relationships with Field Operations, Property and Support Centre based teams, including some direct Publican contact
  • To deliver all verbal and written communication to a high standard and within timely SLAs


  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to your own personal development and take ownership of working on any development areas/ skills/ tasks gaps


  • To work as part of a team to successfully complete required tasks within departmental and companywide SLAs
  • Complete ad-hoc project administration as and when required

Person Specification – Technical Competencies/Professional expertise desired

  • Competent user of order systems/ internet/ web-based systems
  • English and Maths GCSE – Grade C or above (or equivalent)
