One of your primary functions will be to manage the listing and delisting of products within our pub estate. You’ll be the person who manages changes to cost or price, taking ownership of the processes and critical timelines that go along with them. Helping us keep a perfect audit, you’ll use our supplier management platform to capture any reporting on government legislation and/or company initiatives, changes to contracts or rebates, as well as supplier reporting in general.
You’ll make sure we provide accurate reporting on tenders, familiarising yourself with supplier agreements so that correct rebates are raised, ensuring what we’re raising is inline with budget. You’ll be able to highlight where we are against supplier targets, as well as sharing reporting suites that show the cost benefits we’ve achieved as a team. You will be the person that lets us know where we are against key deliverables.
It’s not all drink and you’ll support in managing any of the suppliers which fall under the Commercial remit, including Sky/TNT and other consumables, controlling invoicing, as well as assiting Operations Managers and Business Support on queries which arise.
As part of this role, you’ll be the person who ensures the changes we make are communicated effectively. Keeping publicans front and centre, you’ll understand that time is of the essence when communicating on anything which impacts product, service, or price.

– Manage supplier agreements so that all rebates are raised on time and to the correct value
– Provides reporting which helps us to mitigate stock challenges in depot
– Maximise your development by familiarising yourself with each of the Commercial functions
– Ensures we remain compliant with the Pubs Code and other government legistlation
Technical Competencies / Professional Expertise:
Naturally a people person at heart, you’ll have no challenges working confidently with suppliers, unafraid to challenge and push back so that products are listed on time or delisted with appropriate communication.
Analytical by nature, you’ll already have strong excel skills that allow you to analyse and visualise large amounts of data quickly and easily. Your comprehensive understanding of Excel will help you tackle complex tasks and make informed decisions. These skills will give you confidence that you can report accurately on commercial budgets, cost centres, cost savings, and other reporting suites which will allow us to understand where we are against key measurables.
Your previous experience will show you’re comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and can manage changes which follow critical timelines.
