Estates Development Manager (South)

This role will help identify estates development opportunities through higher alternative use for company property assets, delivering additional income opportunities through alternative use licensed and unlicensed income streams from within the Punch business. The Estates Development Manager (EDM) will manage the process of liaising between external advisor’s internal contacts, Publicans and local contacts on major commercial and residential developments to ensure optimum profit opportunities are delivered at pace and on budget, unlocking value through both the planning process and the negotiations that the EDM will lead with the Publican. The role further requires the ability to change goals and objectives in response to a shift in company requirements, while managing a high volume of work.

Accountabilities

  • Be responsible for efficient filtering of new development and income generation opportunities using proprietary tools and external advice • Maximise development value to ensure we exploit the maximum footprint of development in tandem with post development site value/profit uplift
  • Update the period-by-period report on commercial projects and disposals to the Board
  • The EDM is required to contact company solicitors to ensure that all transactions are completed quickly, efficiently and cost effectively
  • Provide individual pub disposal valuations for all pubs within your area and in support of Capex development projects
  • Production of Disposal Board packs to obtain disposal approval
  • Growth in Unlicensed Property estate income through development and deployment of new income streams such as EV charging and parcel collection lockers
  • Supporting the business in their acquisition activities as required
