Marketing & Guest Experience Manager

We are looking for someone dynamic to help us implement our concept strategies taking our Pub experience to the next level, helping us become guest obsessed, focusing in on the right range, growing opportunities & marketing activations that grow sales profitably.

Together with the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be fully immersed in a pub concept that really does have the community at its core, working to establish its identity, whilst delivering a sense of belonging and engaging content and supporting the commercial marketing plan for our Management Partnership pubs.

Taking the latest market insights and consumer trends, you’ll thrive in developing marketing activations that deliver sensational guest experiences. We need someone who can:

• Using insight across data, consumer trends, operational understanding and concept development from our retail offering. Collaborate with the wider marketing teams to develop toolkits, activations, campaigns and initiatives that are delivered through the annual commercial calendar

• Be the guardian of our community led concept offering

• Focus on reputation management with a strong emphasis on a guest first outlook

• Curious, driven, analytical, commercially savvy practical marketer (no fluffy marketeers here!)

• Brilliantly creative, fanatical about timelines & organisation.

• Can work in an environment that engages multiple stakeholders across lots of levels.

• Brilliant communicator, presenter & energiser.

• Strong trend awareness of all aspects relating to a pub offer as well as consumer segments, demographics and occasions.

• Can work across multi-segment/brand – but also has a superb understanding of the local pub offer & its place in the community.



Pubs, people, and possibilities are at the heart of everything we do, so the ideal candidate will:

• Work with our Operations teams to support investment pipeline from a field based marketing activation perspective

• Maintain and be accountable for all timelines / deadlines regarding marketing activity/campaigns

• Drive an ongoing implementation plan through digital, PR, Food and Drinks

• Support the set up of promotional and campaign activity, ensuring that all key stakeholders are equipped and briefed to execute effectively, including proof reading and sense checking material



To be bold and proactive, we need a team member who can:

• Monitoring success measures throughout, advising additional implementation support where necessary

• Evaluate and track learnings from all campaign and promotional activity

• Responsible for invoicing, budget tracking and creation of monthly report



Accuracy is key to this role, so we need a team member who can:

• Work closely with operations and property teams to maintain the pipeline of brand sites

• Ensure relevant stakeholders take ownership of their work streams so the projects progress in timely manner

• Demonstrate inclusive working behaviours with every field and support centre function

• Utilise the expertise within Punch to guide, inform and innovate

• Generate enthusiasm and a positive attitude with a sense of fun with an input into how the concept should feel, through effective working relationships with the Operations team to ensure first class delivery on engaging and educating MP Ops on all things community concept

• Effectively communicate outputs with a sense of energy and enthusiasm to motivate and inspire
