Role Purpose
You will be responsible for:
Working as part of a team to create epic community pubs that provide guests with great hospitality experiences.

Maximising business opportunities through supporting our Publicans and Management Partners;

  • Delivering the everyday brilliantly, providing great account management support for pubs on the phone, via email, online and face-to-face;
  • Managing our account base to maximise the value of sales orders;
  • Building and maintaining relationships; and providing guidance and support regarding beer, cider, wine, soft drinks, spirits, and events.

We need someone who can:

  • Support our account base in a proactive way to maximise the value of drinks orders.
  • Work with a right-first-time approach, ensuring accurate and efficient order capture.
  • Secure volume and support business growth by optimising product mix.
  • Give brilliant service that exceeds customer expectations, whilst keeping to the departmental objectives.


Pubs, people and possibilities are at the heart of everything we do, so the ideal candidate will:

  • Identify and maximise business opportunities to generate profit and deliver business success.

  • Liaise effectively with Field Operations, Internal Support Teams, and suppliers in order to achieve results.

Person Specification – Technical Competencies/Professional expertise

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent customer focus with the ability to listen and respond appropriately to customers, providing a quality service.
  • Effective working relationships with the ability to work in a team by demonstrating flexibility, a fun attitude, and the ability to share knowledge.
  • An organised mindset with planning, organising and the flexibility to work in a fast paced and changeable environment.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • The ability to communicate warmly and clearly, and to use your powers of persuasion and negotiation skills both on the telephone and in writing.
  • Commercial awareness and industry knowledge.
  • The motivation to strive for excellence with a proactive approach to individual training, development, and progression.
  • A proven track-record of working within a fast-paced sales environment (desirable).
  • Experience of working within the hospitality industry (desirable)
  • A robust understanding of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Web, Apps and inhouse computer systems.
  • English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) – Grade 4/C or above (in both is essential).
