Test Analyst

Working within our awesome IT team, a Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring product quality and testing across Punch IT Applications. Whilst providing a first-class service through your quality communication, you will actively be writing and executing test scripts (and logging any issues found), providing root cause analysis and supporting with project issues. Working with end users and IT delivery teams, you’ll work to understand the quality expected and critical success factors, to feed into test scripts and providing post go live support for users on projects.

We need someone who can:

  • Design and create test scripts for ongoing projects to ensure successful launch and/or implementation (creation and understanding of test data is required)
  • Actively work with:
    – The wider IT team, assisting in/supporting with regular project Quality Reviews
    – End users to establish acceptance criteria for measuring quality
    – Third parties to ensure understanding of solution
  • Champion one-way of working in terms of reporting and business process solutions in line with the wider Business and IT Strategy

  • Build and maintain great relationships with colleagues and other customers to allow you to provide a first-class customer service and to gain all necessary information on projects to feed into Testing deliverables
  • Work in conjunction with the wider IT team to ensure services are robust and appropriately supported from a first and second line point of view
  • Be flexible in your approach and willing to undertake any ad hoc analysis and projects as required by the Head of IT
