The Bear & Pheasant is an open-plan operation, with the main bar area to the side of the building and rooms to the front and rear. Guests love the beer garden at the back of the property, delicious cask ale, local weekend entertainment and games.

Occupying a terraced plot in the heart of an expansive residential area, the pub sits in the middle of a 1940s terraced street. The pub is on a side street just off the main road to Stafford, meaning this is a lovely stop-off point.

Ideal operator

We’re seeking a community and sports-focused publican with a strong events background. You’ll need to drive community engagement in a value market. You’ll also need basic catering skills and the ability to market your pub using social media. If you love your community, people and pubs, we need you.

Private accommodation

The domestic accommodation consists of three bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge. We will ensure that this accommodation is in good order.
