The Burrator Inn, Dousland is an impressive and spacious pub in an lovely part of South Devon and we are investing in a major refurbishment to enhance the pub to its best and maintain its character and charm. It sits on a main route to the tourist spot of Yelverton in Dartmoor National Park.

This pub is a true community hub for local residents and we would like to embrace and develop this, while also bringing in new trade from tourists and passing trade, be it for a bite to eat or a relaxing stopover in one of the stunning letting bedrooms. The pub is a true traditional pub with a very strong food trade delivered in an open plan space and offers some fabulous facilities.

Business facilities
This pub offers an authentic feel with its bright welcoming colours and traditional Devonshire look. The pub offers a generous trading space (140 covers) and has a large outside garden with a children’s play area and garden benches – making it a perfect spot in the warmer weather. Inside, the property has the ambience and atmosphere of an authentic Devonshire, country pub. It offers fires and seating areas with plenty of smaller areas to make it feel cosy wherever you sit. The pub is mostly open plan but with three main areas, with easy access to the large central bar for customers wherever they sit. It offers parking for up to 60 cars.

Letting Bedrooms
The pub will offer 7 letting rooms on the first floor of the pub. They are all en-suite and sleep at least two guests; with a mix of double rooms and rooms whereby beds can be set up to customers’ requirements

The private accommodation includes two bedrooms, lounge and kitchen

Refurbishment
We are looking to completely transform this pub by completing a total Refurbishment, transforming the Pub into a site to be proud of. This will entail improvements to décor, furnishings and furniture to ensure this warm and welcoming pub looks and feels its best. Externally, the property, car park and gardens will be redecorated, and enhanced, new signage installed.

About the local area
The pub sits around 7 miles from Plymouth in the beautiful Dartmoor park area. Dousland and Yelverton are Synonymous to South Devon and with the venue location a few hundred yards from Burrator reservoir this a real treat of a location to run a business and live.
