Take the reins of a picturesque brick and flint village pub with a spacious dining room, circular picnic sets at the front, and a lawned garden.
The Full Moon needs a dynamic and experienced food operator to drive epic sales with homemade specialities and a great range of real ales and lagers. It’s a gem of an opportunity for you to reposition this classic pub into a rustic food and drink haven. You’ll need experience in leading skilled kitchen teams, a keen eye for detail, and your service standards must be exceptional. The key to the success of this site resides in developing a superb reputation for high-quality service, food, drinks, and an excellent guest experience.
You’ll recruit, train, coach and inspire the best staff leading by example. Your enthusiasm will be infectious, sharing your passion for exceptional service. You’ll give them the tools to go above and beyond every day for every customer, whatever the occasion. You’ll also educate and empower your team to speak confidently about the food and drink offer. They’ll make recommendations when asked to ensure they make a great choice.
Excellent hosting skills are crucial. You’ll understand the diverse reasons customers visit your pub, and you’ll make every visit memorable. Operating as the quintessential host attuned to guests’ needs, you’ll also be confident in delegating to a well-trained and engaging team. You’ll be a creative, visionary, and savvy operator, ensuring consistent service right from the kitchen and the cellar.
The Full Moon needs a community operator welcomed into the bosom of the community. Versatility and adaptability enable you to manage peak times during the summer months.
Pub and location
Here you will discover two main trading areas: the bar area with a cosy fireplace and a larger dining area. The ideal operator will take advantage of the large beer garden, car park and trading kitchen. Extensive refurbishments, including an extension to the dining area, will happen before re-opening.
You’ll discover the Full Moon in Great Missenden, an affluent village with approximately 2,000 residents between Amersham and Wendover. The savvy operator will take advantage of the direct rail connections to London Marylebone. Enjoy a walker’s paradise closely adjoining the village of Little Kingshill.
There are two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and bathroom.
