The Golden Cock is lovely traditional village pub located in a beautiful Farnley Tyas, which is in great condition after being refurbished to a very high standard.  With its beamed ceilings and a warm and welcoming interior (with feature fireplaces) it’s a really cosy pub, even though it is generous in trading space and facilities.
It’s a great out of town village pub within easy reach of Huddersfield with plenty of parking and the perfect place to go to enjoy Cask Marque ales, wines and gins and enjoy a delicious evening pub meal, family meet up or to escape a busy week at the weekend

The pub is of a good size with a large car park and external drinking areas to both the front and rear of the pub. The lounge bar has a real homely feel, which is where the locals and those passing through looking for a drink tend to gather. The dining space is a large “L” shaped room with room for up to 60 covers. This is served by a large commercial kitchen which is fully equipped to deliver a large number of covers. To compliment all this there is a delightful function room located in the upstairs, which is popular for meetings, functions and smaller parties. The pub also offers a beer garden for those warmer days offers parking for 40 cars. The pub also offers WIFI.
