The Green Tree, Brotton in Yorkshire is a traditional, established community pub which is well supported by local residents and visitors to the area.  It is a beautiful, stone-built pub that is attractively decorated, inviting and has a real warmth. The pub is well-known for serving high quality drinks and for offering live TV sports, regular weekend entertainment and community focused events.

Business facilities

The Green Tree pub is on a corner location with the entrance on the corner of the building. When you enter the pub, on your right is the main bar area with fixed seating, perfect for viewing live TV sports. To the left of the entrance is a quieter, more relaxed space for customers to enjoy. There is a games room to the rear with a pool table and darts board available for customers to enjoy. Outside is a small, yet functional, space available for customers to enjoy a cool drink on those warmer days.

About the local area

The Green Tree is situated in Brotton, a friendly, hilltop village just three miles away from the beautiful coastal town, Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Home to the last remaining pier in Yorkshire, It’s a much-loved destination for that authentic seaside experience.

The village is also only a short drive away from Middlesbrough and Redcar surrounded by beautiful scenery and countryside.

We are looking for operators who have a clear passion for pubs and hospitality. A great personality to build strong and lasting relationships within the local community and the ability to host local events at the pub to drive customers to the pub all year round.

About our Agreement

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.

You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have a dedicated Operations Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.

Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.

* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or an Operations Manager.
