Are you a passionate, hands-on individual who enjoys creating unforgettable guest experiences? If so, look no further than the Halfway House, Penryn. We’re seeking a talented Management Partner to take our local and seasonal destination pub to the next level.

Ideal Management Partner

You’ll have a proven record of success in a similar position and a genuine passion for delicious food and drink. You will be a dynamic manager who leads from the front. Setting impeccable standards while cultivating and nurturing relationships with guests and team members will be second nature to you.

Taking charge of the bar, restaurant, kitchen, and site, you’ll drive sales from £10k to £15k per week in the first year. Introducing excellent training and procedures, over-delivering on guest experiences will be your modus operandi. Hosting and promoting irresistible events will drive new guests to this destination pub. You’ll also adapt your offer to meet business needs and the season.

As a process-driven and detail-oriented individual, you’ll create a service ethos that relies on friendliness and impeccable standards. You’ll understand the importance of maintaining excellent relationships with the kitchen team, fostering their personal development while helping them create outstanding dishes that your guests will adore.

Your pub opportunity

The Halfway House is a traditional building boasting three main trading areas: a bar, lounge, and dining room. There’s a large patio area, camping facilities behind the pub, and a kitchen off the dining area. Outside, you’ll find a sun terrace with stunning countryside views and generous car parking.

The pub sits along Rame Cross in the heart of Penryn, close to Cornwall’s south coast and Lizard Point. Nearby are other exciting destinations such as Helston, Falmouth, and Penzance, only a 40-minute drive away.

You will reside in the flat above the pub area, which includes three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining room, and an office.
