The Leaping Wolf is located in the heart of Wolverhampton, not far from the Molineux Stadium, which is home of Premier League team Wolverhampton Wanderers. It’s a fabulous venue having being relaunched in the last twelve months with a new name to create a lively pub which offers a fantastic selection of drinks, potential to provide a food offer, Live TV sport and entertainment for local residents and those from across the wider area.

It’s a great opportunity, with a large student population from Wolverhampton University nearby and would be suitable for a lively and driven operator, with genuine passion for entertainment and sport, who can provide great service and atmosphere for customers and is also confident in managing an imaginative ongoing calendar of events to attract the pubs mixture of audiences.

Business Facilities

The pub is a spacious one room operation and has a local reputation for a great drinks selection and world lagers, and local weekend entertainment. The kitchen can provide for up to 30 covers throughout. Outside, there are two external spaces with lovely tables and lighting for drinking and socialising ,one being at the front of the building with a smoking solution and the other being a Wolves Football Fan Zone to the rear of the property (having a separate bar to accommodate the football fans). The pub provides a large 20-space car park and free WiFi.


The domestic accommodation consists of three bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge. Punch will ensure that this accommodation is in good order.

The local area

The Leaping Wolf sports bar occupies a generous corner plot in the heart of an expansive area of residential housing approx. a quarter of a mile from the heart of Wolverhampton, it sits at the entrance an area of large 1950s terraced housing, opposite is the Wolverhampton football ground and a large well-known supermarket. Customers include local residents,  football and sports fans and there is also a large student population at the University of Wolverhampton nearby.

* The calculation of the initial ingoing costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £5,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up can be paid over the term of the contract and up to £100 per week. This can be discussed with the Operations Manager.
