A proud brick fronted building which will be known for its cosy bar, delicious food, and wide selection of drinks. The pub will be a favourite spot for both locals and destination guests following a substantial £400k investment to bring this gorgeous pub back to life and centre it within the community.
The pub had a large garden for 120 covers with play area, parking for 28 cars plus on street parking, The internals consist of spacious bar with 24 covers, snug 28 covers, dinning room 48 covers, large kitchen with walk-in fridge
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced operator to breathe life back into this enchanted pub. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create a friendly and inviting environment for guests, making the pub a real hub for the community as well as attracting guests from further afield
The Investment will be spent on an internal refurb of trading areas including new fixtures and fittings throughout, new trade kitchen along with smartening up the externals of the building and garden
The pub comes with excellent manager accommodation comprising 4 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, and bathroom – all will be refurbished also
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and inspire a sizable team
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring exceptional team motivation to deliver first class service so gaining guest loyalty
- Oversee stock management and order supplies as required.
- Execute marketing strategies to increase visit frequency of existing guests and attract new ones.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Take ownership of the operation and be the face of the pub
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Publican / Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent recruitment, training and deployment of team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for creating a positive pub experience and inspiring those moments
