The Pub
The pub is located directly opposite Enfield Chase train station on a busy road and surrounded by chimney pots.
The pub will be receiving a minor investment to refresh the feel of the pub – currently in a good condition but we want to elevate it to align with our premium offer.
The pub has two completely separate rooms both accessed from the street and one with a garden entrance. They boast several unique features such as a fireplace in the right-hand bar, curved bay windows etched with representations of a wheatsheaf and art nouveau style flowers and brown glazed brick facing.
There is an event space in the ‘Vault’ which holds 40 standing and 20 seated offering the opportunity for private dining or exclusive special occasions.
The massive outside space is a real opportunity to dial up events both in winter and summer with a retractable stretch tent, heated booths and TV’s for big ticket sporting fixtures – summer events and festivals will be a big draw.

The Challenge
Engrain yourself and the pub into the local community.
Take charge of the bar, restaurant, kitchen, entertainment and overall site
Lead from the front and be the face of the business
Drive sales from £6k to £15k per week in the first year
Ensure the necessary training and procedures are in place
Deliver consistent standards of guest service in a structured and discplined manner
See to always over-deliver guest experiences
Flex business needs depending on weather, seasons and events
Perform calmly under pressure, managing in a hands-on and approachable manner, always with the best interest of the business, guest and team at heart
Install a service ethos that relies on a combination of friendliness and impeccable standards with the ability to cultivate and nurture relations with the guest
The Person
Community minded, keen, enthusiastic, very hands-on and charismatic
Somone who enjoys being the face of the business and hosting guests with flair and warmth
Focused on quality, efficiency and guest relationship
The ability to drive sales
A passion for all things food, drink and entertainment
Ability to lead from the front and by example
A process driven and detail orientated individual
Excellent leadership, motivational and training skills
Proven record of achievements in a similar position
