The pub and location
The Packhorse has a prime position on the corner of Chelford Road on the western edge of Macclesfield. It’s a traditional-looking pub with an outdoor drinking space to the front and side.
Guests love the friendly atmosphere and engaging events including Open Mic nights, acoustic singers, karaoke, and charity events. They also love the full-on live sports package. Guests also love the fantastic food with a popular Sunday Roast served all day for the family to get together.
The pub is divided into four main trading areas, as you enter the pub, you’ll see the fantastic bar and to the right is the pool room. The pub has comfortable seating to the left. Towards the rear of the pub is a dining area that can double up as a private dining space and popular booth seating.
You’ll be at your happiest getting in the thick of it, either on the bar or in the kitchen. Your ability to deliver volume seamlessly with consistent standards and quality is one of your key strengths. The beer and drinks you serve from your pub need to be on the money every time!

Then the Punch Management Partnership Contract is the perfect option.
Alongside tonnes of day to day support and a brilliant framework to grow the business, we provide an uncapped cut of top line turnover to pay yourself and your team in exchange for your Management Company providing the management services at the pub – it’s your structure to own, subject to management company costs including, but not limited to, staff costs, minor repairs and maintenance at the pub, security/door staff and insurance. We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.

We love to engage Management Companies that help us create pub legacies that stand the test of time and become the hub of their community.
