The Robin Hood is perfect for an operator looking to run a pub that serves as the backbone of their local suburban community. Contemporary in style, the pub is unique in its subtle but reassuring nod to the local history. It provides a familiar and homely retreat for guests to call their well-loved local.
The Robin Hood needs an operator at the helm who will leave passers-by wanting to find out more, with fresh and clean externals, the best atmosphere and community spirit living and breathing throughout the pub. You will create the perfect venue for every occasion, from date nights to disco lights, Sunday roasts to sporting events, lively birthdays, quiet drinks, family meals and everything in between. You’ll excel when hosting quiz nights, weekend entertainment, and pool and darts. You’ll also showcase live bands and music, Premier League football and all other sport.
We need an experienced Management Partner committed to delivering a consistently high standard of service with an excellent rapport with the guests. You’ll be genuinely knowledgeable about the food and drink range, ensuring your team are approachable and happy to offer their recommendations. Liquor leads at this pub with a wide range of cask on tap. With a small kitchen, you’ll have the creativity and vision to create popular pub food for the locals.
Every detail will matter to make this pub a cut above the rest. The Robin Hood will be the go-to destination for guests looking for a great time, every time, across all types of social occasions. You’ll lead a team to create the best pub in the area.

The Pub and Location
You’ll be at the helm of a local corner pub, sitting on a crossroads, with a garden to the rear and space for four or five cars to park to one side. Two bars are joined together, with the second boasting a pool table and darts board. The kitchen is at the end of this second bar, whilst the cellar is under the bar.
You’ll find the Robin Hood in the suburb of Sholing, only three miles from the centre of Southampton, with over 30,000 people living within a mile and 110,000 within two miles. Southampton is a bustling city with two universities, which you can take advantage of the substantial student population. St Mary’s Stadium, the home of Southampton FC, is only a couple of miles away over the River Itchen, where you can also find the busy dock area, the home of Britain’s cruise industry. This pub oozes potential for the right operator.
You’ll discover four bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, toilet and bathroom.
