Take the reins of a fantastic community pub just a five-minute walk to Sutton High Street. We have an exciting investment planned to revitalise the interior and enhance the kitchen to complement the new menu, with 88 covers internally.
We’re looking for a down to earth and friendly Management Partner to ensure the Robin Hood is the first choice for family occasions, long summers in the courtyard garden with 58 covers, a sensational Sunday roast. You’ll also build the drinks side of the business to increase local walk to guests. That’s why we need an experienced Management Partner well-versed in running a successful and high-quality community offer.
The ideal Management Partner will be on the ball, knowledgeable and love their community. You’ll understand the importance of making guests feel welcome, creating an inclusive atmosphere and supporting your team to perform at the highest possible level. We need a Management Partner who knows what makes a good event and ensures guests have a great time. You’ll know your regulars, what they drink, where they like to sit and take a genuine interest in their story. Conversations at the bar will emanate laughter.
Pub and location
The Robin Hood is a classic community pub. From its whitewashed stone exterior with stunning floral displays to its oak flooring and plush carpet interior. It’s a pub locals love with a cosy log burner and a quaint patio garden to the rear that’s suitable for all seasons as it features heating during those chilly months.
The pub also benefits from a street side terrace, garden courtyard and a large upstairs function room with a bar. The main bar area is large, with plenty of seating and a separate dining room.
The savvy operator will take advantage of the location near the Empire Cinema and the VBS community stadium, ideal for grabbing a quick pre-match drink or a family meal. There’s a multi-story car park just 100 yards from the pub. Whether guests are already regulars or new to the area, they’ll love the welcoming atmosphere of this dog- and child-friendly pub. There is full wheelchair access to all entrances of the pub and a wood-burner, which is permanently roaring in winter.

We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.
