This stunning black and white pub has established itself as part of the area’s social fabric – it’s cherished by drinkers as a community hub where they can gather for a chat, and is a popular choice for charity events and seasonal social evenings. Once upgraded, the catering kitchen will be able to provide for up to 50 covers throughout. The Sloop offers free WiFi, Sky Sports and parking for 30 vehicles. There’s also excellent provision for live music and entertainment, with a fabulous fully-serviced stage located within the beer garden. The pub also has a smoking solution.


The domestic accommodation consists of four bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge. Punch will ensure that this accommodation is in good order.

Local Area

The area around the Sloop is densely populated, with many white-collar workers living in the surrounding streets. There’s plenty of competition with nearby pubs, though many of these are wet-only outlets – and value is a key driver in this price-conscious part of Cheshire. There’s some light industry and manufacturing in the area, and the Sloop should also be targeting after-work and lunchtime trade. Liverpool, Manchester and Chester are all around 40 minutes away.
