The Star is a beautiful, cosy village pub in Liverton, Newton Abbot. Surrounded by open countryside, it is much loved by residents and is also a great place to dine for those across the wider area. Business facilities
Internally, this pub has two main trading areas. There is a public bar with a welcoming fire and a lounge-bar with an additional fire, with an upper mezzanine level. The pub offers direct access onto the side terrace where there is a pagoda – ideal for sitting out during the daytime or evenings. The pub also offers a lovely garden space and children’s play area.
The lounge-bar was given a makeover earlier this year and has a high feature wall with wonderful decorative ornaments – a real talking point. The pub also has two TVs in the pub; one in each bar to enjoy live sports.

The private accommodation includes three bedrooms, a kitchen and lounge.

About the local area
Liverton forms part of the Dartmoor boundary and on the other side of the A38 is Trago Mills (a large shopping village) alongside Stover Country Park which attracts visitors to the area, as well as to enjoy food and a cold drink!
The pub also benefits from its proximity to both the A38, Exeter, Newton Abbot and several villages on the northern side of the A38.
There are also two nearby campsites – so the summer months can get extremely busy in the large garden.
