The Swan, Kingston is a beautiful picture postcard Cask Marque 17th Century pub situated in the village of Kingston St Mary not far from the Quantock Hills which attract visitors to the area. The pub is a cosy and traditional pub with beamed ceilings, welcoming fires and a reputation for serving delicious cask ales, as well as delicious home cooked food. The Swan also offers a stunning beer garden space with parking and a detached skittle alley/function room which offer scope to develop the business.

The trading space is in great condition following a recent refurbishment with space for 56 covers, including special occasion dining and a drinking space. It’s a long open but cosy room which offers a warm atmosphere. The décor is traditional and in fantastic condition.  The garden offers a great opportunity to add significant business throughout the summer months and it’s inglenook fireplace draws customers for long evenings in the bar during the winter. Kingston St Mary is a charming and affluent small village with retired residents and professionals alongside strong tourist trade drawn to the area by the Quantock Hills. The main road through Kingston passes in front of the pub offering regular passing trade for a bite to eat. There is limited local competition nearby and this pub is well poised to become the most liked pub across the local area.

A publican with catering experience and a passion for supporting a local village community. You will create an environment where people can feel relaxed and socialise. You need to have a passion for ales and wines, knowing how to maximise sales and utilise these to compliment a wonderful food offer.
