You find Three Horseshoes in the centre of the small, picturesque village of Towersey, around two miles from Thame town centre.

The pub boasts the most spacious beer garden within a five-mile radius, complete with a kids’ play area. The Three Horseshoes is a traditional, family-friendly pub that offers a quiet location to relax and enjoy a drink or meal in the pub or large beer garden. The pub is well known for its generous meals, excellent value for money menu and friendly team, and is home to the Towersey Morris Men and monthly open mic night. There is scope to develop the food and events offer, as the site benefits from a large commercial kitchen.

The Three Horseshoes is a brick-built building with a traditional feel, offering three internal trading areas. When you enter the pub, off the lobby to the left is a carpeted bar area with seating for twenty, and to the right, you’ll see a small seating area in the main bar for ten covers. The pub boasts an original flagstone floor and welcoming open fire, and the carpeted restaurant area has seating for thirty covers. The 16th Century barn offers further opportunities for events and functions, and the large beer garden is perfect for a summer BBQ. We are also investing in the fixtures and fittings, redecorating the bar areas, and carpet cleaning.

The Three Horseshoes sits in the centre of the small, picturesque Oxfordshire village of Towersey, two hundred yards from the Phoenix trail cycle route, stretching from Thame to Princes Risborough. Towersey village is popular with locals, dog walkers, cyclists, and visitors to the beautiful Chilterns. It is a beautiful place to stop off when exploring the Chilterns or heading to the historic city of Oxford, sixteen miles away.

Thame town centre for local shopping is two miles away, and Chinnor, home to the steam and diesel engines, is six miles away.
