One hundred and eighty-seven Punch pubs have made it into CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2017, which features 4,500 pubs across the UK. The guide highlights the best real ale pubs throughout Great Britain.

To help publicise the success, Punch have sent all Publicans who have achieved the accolade a pack, which includes an external banner and internal posters to promote the accomplishment.

Punch’s Chief Executive Officer, Duncan Garrood said: “On behalf of everybody here at Punch, I would like to say congratulations to all the pubs who have made it into the guide.

“It’s a fantastic achievement and all of them should be very proud. We hope that more of our pubs will make it into the Good Beer Guide next year and we will continue to support all our pubs with training and development”.

Matt Feeney, Publican at the Malt Shovel in Aston on Trent, said: “It’s a real pleasure to be in the Good Beer Guide. We have been in the Malt shovel since 2010, where we have grown year on year. We stock six real ales and the pack we received from Punch is great – it really helped us promote the Good Beer Guide in our pub.”
