The Grove pub in Anfield has reopened following a £330,000 investment by leading pub company Punch Pubs & Co.
The historic former hotel on Breckfield Road North has been transformed under experienced Management Partners Aimee and Tom Reynolds.
The couple are keen to give local guests a reason to visit the pub throughout the week. Aimee said: “We want The Grove to be a pub where everyone feels welcome. Whether you’re a regular, a football fan, a local resident or visiting for the first time, you’ll receive the same warm welcome.
“Community is at the heart of everything we want to achieve. We would love to welcome local clubs, societies and community groups into the pub and provide them with a regular meeting place where they can connect, grow and thrive. If you’re looking for a pub to host you, we’d love to speak to you.”
The reimagination of The Grove includes a full internal refresh, new furniture, new bar and cellar equipment, the beer garden and external signage.
Rachael Henry, Senior Operations Manager at Punch Pubs & Co, said: “The Grove is a fantastic community pub with huge potential. Its proximity to Anfield, strong local population and traditional pub roots makes it an ideal fit for our Unity Social business unit.
“This significant investment has created a venue that combines great sport, live entertainment and community spirit while offering excellent value for our customers seven days a week.
“We are delighted to reopen the doors under Aimee and Tom’s leadership and look forward to a fantastic partnership.”
Aimee and Tom have also committed to working closely with local charities, food banks and community organisations as the business develops.
