The Newbold Crown in Rugby officially reopened this March after a three-week long closure and £200k investment with leading pub company Punch Pubs & Co.
The full-scale refurbishment has completely transformed the popular community pub, reimagining both the interior and exterior, giving it a striking new look that’s spacious and welcoming for both guests old and new.
Management Partners, Sarah and Richard are thrilled with the outcome of the investment, sharing their delight on social media: “We absolutely love the new feel, new look and how big the pub now feels. A lot of planning, discussions, changes – and most importantly – our ideas – have come to life, and we are blown away by the end result.

Inside, guests will now find a completely revitalised space featuring brand-new upholstery with a stylish mix of leather and fabric seating, patterned and textured wallpaper throughout, a bold yet warm colour palette with layered blues complemented by touches of orange, brown and deep red.
Sporting fans can enjoy a distinctive new sports zone, complete with a redesigned darts feature wall and the Newbold Crown’s refreshed pool table – which now makes the perfect setting for friendly competition or weekly knockouts.
Outside, the pub now boasts refreshed externals and signage, giving The Newbold Crown a standout presence in the community.
Having reopened on the 3rd of March, Sarah, Richard and the team have returned with a bang, offering a stylish yet comfortable space for their guests to relax, socialise and enjoy great hospitality.
