The Bounty Inn has reopened following a £200k investment by independent pub operators Punch Pubs & Co, with Management Partner Chris Wood taking the helm.

Sitting in the heart of Basingstoke, this historic pub dates back to the 1800s and has been lovingly revitalised by Punch, ensuring the building’s intrinsic charms and atmosphere are maintained. Works have included a complete transformation of the garden area, ensuring this fantastic space is as alluring as inside. Guests can now enjoy their drinks in a beautifully landscaped area, accessorised with ample seating and patio heating that easily allow day drinks with friends and loved ones to effortlessly transition into the evening.

Inside, the Bounty has plenty of new additions to its bar and kitchen, with some of the world’s best craft beers available on tap alongside a supporting selection of premium spirits ready to be mixed into a classic cocktail (or two). On opening, the pub has also introduced a brand new menu. Those looking for a bite-to-eat as they drink will find a menu chock full of loaded dishes, from dirty fries to burgers. The menu has been specifically designed to be feasted on with friends – there’s something for everyone.

When talking about the pub reopening, experienced Management Partner Chris, who has lived locally for most of his life, says, “I’m incredibly excited to welcome guests to the new-look Bounty Inn. It’s always been a beautiful pub that I have admired from afar for years. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to be a part of its relaunch, bring it back to life for the community and give Basingstoke the fantastic pub it always deserved.”

Chris and the team have a host of events planned, starting with a Jubilee wind down party on Sunday, June 5th. Swiftly followed by an open invitation to local and afar guests to come and experience some of the delicious yet devilish food and drinks to celebrate Fathers Day on June 19.

Operations Manager Chris Reich says, “We are so proud to be reopening The Bounty Inn and unveiling its beautiful new look. It’s a magnificent pub, and this investment has given it the new lease of life it needed. Not only this, but our new Management Partner Chris is the perfect person to ensure its success.”
