We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to take on the role of Head of Operations for our Local Pubs in the North. This role is crucial for building and sustaining a team of high-performing Operations Managers and creating a culture of excellence in pub operations.

Accountabilities:

Partnership: Cultivate effective pub partnerships which drives a culture of care and performance and delivers for our guests every time

Leadership: Inspire and empower a team of Operations Managers to deliver exceptional results.

Strategy: Collaborate with the Operations Director to develop and implement strategies that enhance sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction.

Operational Excellence: Oversee operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.

Financial Management: Make strategic decisions regarding recruitment, investment, and pub propositions.

Sales Growth: Foster a sales-driven culture and support Operations Managers in achieving budgeted sales, margin, and profit.

Compliance: Ensure all pubs comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.

Talent Development: Lead the recruitment and development of high-calibre Management Partners.

 

Technical Competencies / Professional Expertise:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at board level.
Passion for locals pubs, drink, and people.
5-10 years of experience in a customer-facing multi-site management role.
Strong commercial and business acumen.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with Profit & Loss, cash flows, and business accounts.
Degree level qualification.
Full GB Driving Licence.
