Feel the Love with Punch Pubs’ Valentine’s Day in a Box

Lovebirds stuck for a way to switch things up for a lockdown Valentine’s Day can now breathe a sigh of relief, thanks to Punch Pubs’ Valentine’s Day in a Box takeaway offer.

Available from 12th to 15th February, from 41 pubs across the UK, Valentine’s Day in a Box is priced at £16.99 for two courses or £19.99 for three courses, and includes:

two or three course Valentine’s meal

a single rose

bottle of Prosecco, for delivery only (£12 extra).

The special Valentine’s Day menu includes a choice of four starters, five main courses and four desserts, vegan and vegetarian options, with winter-warming dishes ranging from a classic roast dinner to everyone’s favourite sticky toffee pudding.

Publicans, Marc and Ross who run the Griffins Head in Nottingham, already operate a successful takeaway offer for the local community. They have been overwhelmed by the local reaction to the Valentine’s offer.

Marc said, “We wanted to help our guests “Feel the Love this Valentines” and mark the occasion by sharing a special meal at home. We think this is the perfect way to spend time together.

“Our priority is always to be here for our community and whilst we cannot wait to open our doors, providing Valentine’s in a box is not only a great way to help make the day feel special. It means we can still offer a great guest experience even though our lovely customers aren’t able to join us in person.”

Russell Danks, Director of Marketing & Strategy at Punch, said: “Valentine’s Day in a Box is all about bringing the pub experience that we all miss to people’s homes.

“Our customers can now enjoy a romantic evening, prepared with love from their local and use the free time to enjoy Valentine’s Day with their loved one”.
