The Liverpool Arms in Chester opened its doors following a £180k investment by pub owners, Punch.

The new look Liverpool Arms has undergone a transformation making it a great pub for the local community.  Work has included a full redecoration outside which has been sympathetic to the pubs existing style including new signage and lighting which really accentuates the classic, historic charm of this much-loved pub.

Internally the pub has had a full redecoration including new fixed seating and soft furnishings to give the pub a fresh new feel.

The pub will be operated by new Publicans, Sandra and Erica Tyrie and manager Jackie Speed who have a passion for pubs and a wealth of experience in the industry. Sandra and Erica currently operate the Old Queens Head in Chester and are excited to be taking their first Punch pub.

Sandra said, “We are really excited to be here at the Liverpool Arms, the pub looks fantastic and the investment by Punch has brought an already fantastic pub up to date! We have great plans for the future ensuring The Liverpool Arms continues to be an inclusive place for customers, old and new to enjoy all year round.”

With a wide range of great drinks available including all the latest gins and craft beers customers can also enjoy a host of entertainment from open mic nights, live music and the much loved, infamous drag nights which are bound to keep you laughing.

Following the refurbishment, Punch Development Manager, Craig Roberts said, “We are extremely pleased with the new look pub that has been created here and are confident that this fantastic community pub will be put back on the map with Sandra at the helm”.
