The Angel in Kelvedon has reopened following a £400k investment by independent pub operators Punch Pubs & Co, with Management Partners Laura Smith and Rogan Wickham taking the helm.

The pub puts Kelvedon in great stead for Spring as the place for locals to relax in a home-away-from-home and visitors getting the very best the countryside has to offer – complete with a dining experience to exceed expectations.

Supplying ingredients for the pubs sumptuous new menu will be the Queens’s butcher Aubrey Allen, which sees quintessential British classics rub shoulders with modern bistro dishes, as well as plenty of small plates perfect for nibbling on with drinks.

Management Partner Laura, says, “I’m so excited to welcome guests to The Angel, welcoming people in and seeing them leaving happy has always been my favourite part of running a pub and The Angel is not going to disappoint – every aspect of it has been finished beautifully. I’m particularly delighted with the menu and cannot wait for the beautiful new garden to be enjoyed as we head into Spring.”

Senior Operations Manager Sarah Edmunds says, “We are so proud to be reopening The Angel and unveiling its beautiful new look. It’s a magnificent country pub, and this investment has given it the new lease of life it needed. Not only this, but our new Management Partner Laura is the perfect person to ensure its success.”
