The Brewers Arms pub which sits in the heart of Banwell village, North Somerset, has reopened following our £100,000 investment.

This traditional, well loved, pub has been given a new lease of life following the investment which included new signage and lighting, alongside a full internal and external redecoration with new furnishings throughout. Works have created a more modern feel whilst maintaining all of the pubs existing tradition and charm.

The pub will continue to be operated by Publican, Jordan Beamish, who took the helm in January 2019. Speaking about the refurbishment Jordan said, “I’m so pleased to be back open and welcoming customers through the door to take a look at their brand new local. The pub looks fantastic and we have had some really great feedback”

The pub hosts regular live entertainment, open mic nights and is home to Banwell Football Club and the Brewers Arms pool and darts teams. The bar offers quality cask ale and premium lager as well as a selection of spirits and wines for customers to enjoy.

Publican, Jordan added, “We have both Sky and BT Sports to show all live sporting events in the pub, plus a large beer garden which has fantastic views of the local countryside to the rear of the pub.”

Punch’s Operations Director, Lucy Barker said, “We are really proud of the new pub we have created here at The Brewers Arms. The redecoration of the pub has created a lovely warm, cosy atmosphere that the guests will enjoy in the winter, coupled with the big outside area where we look forward to welcoming families in the summer. Jordan is a brilliant Publican who really cares about her guests. She is planning regular events and has introduced weekly offers and sports to give everyone a reason to visit. We look forward to working together with Jordon and continue to look after this traditional community pub.”
Punch owns and operates 1300 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales and is investing £34 million in its pub estate in the next year with the right Publicans running their pubs.
