We will be now looking for a Tenancy at Will (TAW) operator to take the pub on in the short term, while we also recruit for the longer-term agreement. This means there’s an opportunity either to run the pub on a short-term basis or to express interest in the long-term agreement, with full financial details coming soon.

Planned Investment

Subject to full approval, the pub will benefit from a full internal redecoration, along with new external signage and lighting, and updated fixtures and fittings throughout. This will refresh the overall look and presentation and provide a strong base for a new publican to relaunch the site.

The Pub

The pub is a well‑known community local in Tadcaster. Inside, the pub offers open plan trading with a central bar, with seating to both sides and a dedicated area for pool and darts, alongside Sky Sports currently shown throughout.
