The Burgh Bar is a high street, community value pub with a fantastic reputation for entertainment and trading standards.

Now is an incredible time to take the reins, as we have just invested over £100k to ensure it is in excellent condition.

You’ll benefit from high levels of current trade with an opportunity to utilise a well-appointed commercial kitchen. We’re looking for a gregarious host, as the function room/lounge bar is perfect for further development of private functions and events.

There are two separate bars, both with toilet provisions.

We appointed the commercial kitchen recently, ensuring it can serve large functions, up to 100 covers. There’s also a beer garden to the rear of the pub, overlooking the river, and separate access to the function lounge from the public bar. You’ll find a large office and store area on the first floor.

The pub sits in Dumbarton town centre with good access to all shopping, hospitality, and travel links for the area,

Ideal operator

The operator will have experience running a community, town centre bar and food operation with the ability to oversee a complete entertainment package.

You’ll know how to drive new footfall using social media to advertise your pub and events.

We are looking for a local operator, as there is no private accommodation.
