The Masons Arms is a country-feel destination mainstream pub that’s set in the picturesque village of Kemberton, close to both Shifnal and the ever-popular heritage site of Ironbridge. It has a good reputation for top quality, home-cooked food and a range of cask ales and wines to match, attracting both local residents and destination diners.

This Cask Marque accredited pub is an open plan trading operation that’s segmented well to offer a comfortable environment for drinkers and diners alike. The main trading space is an L-shaped lounge bar and restaurant area. The catering kitchen can provide for up to 65 covers at full capacity. Outside, there’s a pleasant beer garden area with an excellent smoking solution and plenty of car parking for destination diners, with space for up to 25 vehicles. Free WiFi is provided.

It encompasses everything Shropshire is famous for, with countryside views of rolling hills and meandering rivers.  It’s also not far from the stunning Ironbridge Gorge heritage site and the town of Bridgnorth. The area has a real sense of community and attracts those who come to explore the stunning walking and cycling trails and visit the Mason Arms for a much needed break.

If you’re enthusiastic about country living and able to deal with affluent locals and destination diners alike, this could be perfect for you. You’ll need some background in producing home-cooked quality food, an ability to look after cask ale and knowledge of wines and spirits.

The domestic accommodation consists of three bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge. Punch will ensure that this accommodation is in good order.

About the Agreement

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.
You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Operations Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice. Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.

* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Operations Manager
