The pub and location

Located in the heart of Ruddington village, the Red Heart boasts a spacious beer garden unmatched by any competition in the area. The astute publican will make the most of it in the summer months to drive volume and sales, making the pub the go-to venue in the area.

The locals are excited to see the grand unveiling of the pub once we have completed the investment activity, which includes:

– Replenishing the bar to support a premium offer in a sought-after area.

– Opening the trading area to give the pub a spacious feel and getting more covers to fill the pub to capacity.

– Updating the kitchen to support a sterling food operation.

– Refurbishing the toilets.

– Transforming the pub’s key unique selling point, the garden, returfing, laying a new patio and adding atmospheric lighting.

– Adding decking to the front for additional seating in warmer months.

– Adding plush external decorations.

– Possibly changing the pub name depending upon the successful applicant’s preference.

Currently, the pub has three different trading areas. We intend to create an open-plan space for the venue.

Located just six miles outside of central Nottingham, the pub has fantastic transport links to the city within 15 minutes. Ruddington is a popular location on the outskirts of Nottingham, comprising an affluent demographic.

Ideal publican

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and business-minded operator to achieve the pub’s potential. You’ll need a keen eye for detail to complement and bring the investment’s vision to life.

You’ll have fantastic experience and be able to run a busy and tantalising drink and food-led operation. You’ll need to be knowledgeable about catering operations alongside offering excellent standards of service and knowing how to market this pub to its best potential.

Ideally, you’ll be local to Nottingham and Ruddington. We’re looking for someone who understands the area and locals.
