Middleton Tyas is just a minute from Scotch Corner, giving the pub excellent access to the A1 and A66. This location helps create steady customer flow from commuters, tourists, and people travelling across North Yorkshire, as well as strong support from the village and surrounding communities. The pub is also well placed for those visiting Richmond, the Yorkshire Dales and other local attractions.

Ideal Operator

This opportunity would suit someone confident running a pub where food plays an important role. The ideal operator will enjoy offering good quality, locally sourced dishes and creating a warm, consistent experience for guests. Local knowledge would be useful but isn’t essential. Most importantly, the operator should feel comfortable building relationships within the village while also welcoming people from the surrounding towns and further afield.
