The experienced  operator will take advantage of the spacious beer garden for guests, with room for 40+  covers. You’ll need catering experience, as the opportunity here sits around delivering delicious food to affluent Danbury guests and attract people from nearby Chelmsford.

The Bell is a one-bar operation with cosy booths in the main trading area and the kitchen on the same floor. We have invested in the pub in the last 3 years. Ample  car parking is available  and a  recently added sheltered heated seating area for 20+  covers to the rear of the property.

About the local area

The village is at the centre of extensive areas of woodland and heath owned by the National Trust and other conservation organisations. Danbury Common, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, also lies south of the village centre. You’ll attract guests to these sites and gain footfall from people travelling to Chelmsford.

Accommodation

The publican accommodation will consist of a 1 bedroom  flat, shower room,  living room and a kitchenette area.
