Punch the independent pub operator with over 1300 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales is the first pub company to stock the new rum from Dead Man’s Fingers, Hemp Rum. In its quest to continually stock the newest and most innovative products on the market for its pubs, Punch has chosen the classic Caribbean rum with the exotic spices ingeniously infused with natural hemp and CBD for its premium spirits range.

Speaking about its inclusion in the Punch drinks portfolio, marketing and strategy director Russell Danks said, “Dead Man’s Fingers products are really popular and their new Hemp Rum is the first to market of CBD infused rum tapping into rapidly growing consumer demand for CBD products.

“At Punch we offer a huge drinks range to our Publicans and we are making a real effort to continually feature innovative craft beers, spirits, soft drinks along with low & no, all of which are growing in popularity.  It’s great that we can now feature this brilliant new rum in our pubs.”

The rum has distinct grassy herbal back-notes supported by a hint of cola, roasted waves of freshly percolated coffee, hops and a dash of pine. The Hemp rum contains natural and legal CBD, that is non-toxic and has no psychoactive or addictive effects.

Brand Manager for Dead Man’s Fingers Lucy Cottrell, “It’s great to have Dead Man’s Fingers Hemp Rum listed with Punch.  Sales of our rum have grown 10-fold in the last year so we are looking forward to seeing our latest, and boldest flavour innovation added to Punch’s bars in the coming weeks.”

The rum has been launched in the Punch portfolio this week and is on the back of a £2 million brand marketing spend by Dead Man’s Fingers.
