Punch’s business support team is finalists of the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards ECCCSAs, the longest running and largest awards programme in the customer contact industry.

Punch, the independent pub company operates 1300 pubs with individual Publicans across England, Scotland and Wales.  Its business support team consists of five customer service teams and is one of the smallest teams to reach the finals.  The award looks at those organisations across Europe that are leading the way in delivering exceptional service to customers.

Speaking about reaching the finals, marketing and strategy director, Russell Danks said, “This is a fantastic achievement to reach the finals of such prestigious awards.  Customer service is extremely important to us as a business and we are committed to developing our teams to ensure they can deliver the best customer experience.  We are always listening to our Publicans to find innovative ways to deliver new and exciting services that helps them run epic community pubs. Punch is a finalist in the European Contact Centre & Customer Service awards – Employee Experience – Most effective learning & development initiative category.  They will find out where they have come at the awards evening which takes place on Tuesday 26 November 2019 at the Evolution in London’s Battersea Park hosted by Fiona Bruce, BBC presenter and journalist.

There are eight finalists in the category with Punch sitting alongside some of the biggest companies in the UK including John Lewis and Knowhow.
