Punch are once again supporting Cask Ale Week with a free pint offer following last year’s successful promotion. Over 900 Punch pubs will be taking part in the Free Pint Promotion, each with 70 pints to give away of any cask ale they stock.

The promotion starts on Thursday 22nd September and will run until Sunday 2nd October. Customers can redeem their free pint by visiting Punch’s website www.freedrinkspubs.co.uk and registering. Once live, customers will receive an email and be able to redeem their free pint using a smart phone or tablet.

Punch are encouraging pubs to support Cask Ale Week by sending a POS kit containing bunting, posters, a cask ale quiz and a how to guide on promoting the popular week to over a thousand of their pubs.

Stephen Martin, category manager for Punch, said: “This will be our third free pint promotion this year, following our huge success with it last year, where over 12,000 pints were redeemed across 850 pubs that took part.

“The event, free pint offer and supporting POS should attract customers to participating pubs where additional events such as ‘Meet the Brewer’ nights, beer festivals and cellar tours are taking place.”
