Leading pub company Punch Pubs & Co has expanded its growing portfolio with the acquisition of The Butchers Arms in Greens Norton.

The popular village pub will continue to be run by Manager Gus and the existing team as it transitions into the Punch family.

Speaking about the acquisition, Punch Pubs & Co Head of Acquisitions, Andrew Cannons, said: “We’re delighted to have acquired this fantastic pub, which is cherished within the community. With a wealth of history and deep ties to its roots, I have no doubt we can continue its legacy, ensuring it thrives within the Punch family for many years to come.”

After being brought back to life in 2017, The Butchers Arms has since undergone refurbishment and remodelling, helping it to flourish across Greens Norton and the surrounding area.

Boasting a modern, rustic bar, relaxed dining area, stylish private dining room, multi-purpose function space and landscaped garden, the pub is well suited to casual drinks, dining for all occasions and events.

Punch Pubs Operations Manager, David Hill, is delighted to be supporting the team in the transition. He said: “The Butchers Arms is a superb village pub that is well-loved locally. Thanks to Gus and the team, it has an excellent reputation and a fantastic offer. This is a brilliant acquisition for Punch, and I’m very much looking forward to seeing its continued success, alongside some exciting plans for its future.”

Punch continues to seek quality acquisitions, including packages and single-site opportunities that align with its modern, progressive vision and growth plans.
