Punch, the independent pub operator with its head office in Burton upon Trent, has reached the finals of the renowned Publican Awards for the second year running in the Best Leased & Tenanted Pub Company category.

Punch has over 1,200 pubs operated by independent Publicans who, every day, open their unique pubs in communities across the UK, giving their customers the warmest of welcomes. Punch also employs over 200 people in its offices in Burton. The company will find out if it will be crowned the king of pub companies at the prestigious event at Battersea Evolution on 4th March 2020.

Clive Chesser, CEO for Punch, said, “We are delighted to have reached the finals of these highly rated pub industry awards for the second year and this year we want to win.

“I want to thank our brilliant Publicans for all their hard work, commitment and passion for the Great British Pub and all they do to support communities across the UK and to our teams for providing epic support to our pubs throughout the year. Without our fantastic Publicans and our team here, we wouldn’t be able to reach the finals.”

Comedian Rob Beckett will be hosting the event where 2,000 people from the pub and beer industry will gather in anticipation of the awards.
