Recruitment Marketing Assistant (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Working within our awesome Recruitment team, the purpose of the role is to assist our pub recruiters and advisors on all things marketing. We are loud and proud of our pubs and want to present them in the best way possible to potential tenants.

Your insight and skills in marketing will assist in producing epic marketing campaigns ensuring that our pubs are accurately and effectively promoted across all social and digital platforms. The Recruitment Marketing Assistant will drive tenant attraction into our award-winning pub estate through innovative ideas and solutions.

Location: Head office, Burton

Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 25 (9am – 3pm)

Days: Monday – Friday

We need someone who can:

• With a focus on socials, you’ll be instrumental in driving a social vision, with strategy, and reporting

• Maintain and be accountable for all timelines / deadlines regarding marketing activity/campaigns

• Support the setup of promotional and campaign activity, ensuring that all key stakeholders are equipped and briefed to execute effectively, including proof reading and sense checking material

• Evaluate and track learnings from all campaign and promotional activity

• Take responsibility for pub photography and Matterport surveys by liaising with the party supplier

• Ensure all pub adverts are created, reviewed, and advertised in accordance with the company brand book across all channels

• Process recruitment packs and documentation to perspective Publicans

• Drive passion and interest into the punch pub estate and brand across all channels of communication ensuring high attraction rates

• Positively communicate our pubs, agreements and support using various platforms

• Organisation of local pub-based recruitment events, with an aim to attract high quality Publicans and Management Partners

• Manage the ordering of “to let” advertising boards for vacant pubs

• Manage responses from the punch website chatbot function

As part of a team, you will be required to:

• To assist the recruitment department with recruitment marketing activities such as social media, printed material and digital advertising

• To assist with recruitment marketing campaigns and liaise with the Marketing Department and National Recruitment Manager for National marketing campaigns

• To assist with regional marketing campaigns and liaise with the Marketing Department and Management Partnership Recruitment Managers

• Ensure relevant stakeholders take ownership of their work streams so the projects progress in timely manner

• Work in partnership with the Marketing team to support the delivery of key pub recruitment campaigns and initiatives

• Support the recruitment team in general administrative duties

Person Specification – Technical Competencies/Professional expertise:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Demonstrate experience and knowledge in recruitment marketing

• Hold a broad range of marketing skills

• Have a strong interest in social media

• Have strong organisational skills

• Be an excellent communicator and have an ability to influence

• Be able to work with 3rd party agencies

• Planning and Organising – capable of planning and managing time with stretching deadlines and manages own workload effectively

• Teamwork – Exceptional teamwork skills

• Commercial Acumen – makes constructive suggestions on how processes can be improved. Takes the initiative to be aware of the external business issues

• Flexibility – Is receptive and positive towards change and identifies the benefits arising. Adapts approach in response to changing demands and continuously moves work forward. Initiates change to improve effectiveness
