The Falcon in Pulham Market near Diss opened its doors following a £162k investment by pub owners, Punch.

The new look Falcon has undergone a transformation making it a great pub for the local community to enjoy.  Work has included a full internal redecoration with new furniture and flooring throughout.

The outside of the pub has also benefitted from a redecoration including all new signage and lighting which really accentuates this fantastic pub.

The Falcon will be operated by Publicans, Niki and Scott Hemmings. This is their second pub with Punch with their first being the Gordon in Norwich. Niki and Scott took the opportunity at the Falcon in July 2018.

Niki commented “I grew up in the area and know the Falcon well so when our Punch Development Manager, Charlie Ashwell told us about Punch’s plans for the pub, we couldn’t resist! The pub looks great and we are excited to get going as we have lots of exciting plans for the future.”

The pub now boasts a dedicated sports room for local teams to play darts and pool. The Falcon also has TV screens throughout and will host all the key sporting events throughout the year.

To match a fantastic drinks offer the pub will soon launch a delicious stone baked pizza menu available to eat in or take away! Using fresh, authentic Italian ingredients they are sure to be a hit with customers.

Following the refurbishment, Managing Director of Operations, Andy Spencer said “We are extremely pleased with the new look pub that has been created here and we look forward to working with Niki and Scott as they grow their pub business”.

Punch owns and operates 1300 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales and is investing £32 million in its pub estate in the next year with fantastic Publicans like Niki and Scott running their pubs.
