The Piper reopens following investment

The Piper pub in Chester has reopened following investment by independent pub operators Punch with manager David Cottam of Stowford Pub Company remaining at the helm.

The Piper has been made over to enhance its traditional feel with many of the pubs original features being retained to maintain all of its existing character and charm. New life has been breathed into this much loved local pub with the addition of stunning feature wallpaper, new furniture and unique pub accents as well as creating a brand new snug that allows guests to enjoy an intimate and relaxed dining experience.

Outside the pub has also had a revamp. The beer garden boasts brand new furniture and festoon lightening draped over the pergola, creating a lovely space for guests to enjoy an alfresco dining experience.

When speaking about the investment David says “The pub has truly been brought back to life. We’re so excited to be welcoming guests back to see their new look local and we’re thrilled to be providing wholesome freshly cooked food and great quality drinks in a relaxing and safe environment once again”.

Punch’s Senior Operations Manager Jannine Leadbetter says, “This is an exciting investment by Punch in a vibrant community pub and we are extremely pleased with the new look created here. By recognising great people like David and continuing to work with them, we have together developed an even better pub for the area and local community”.

The Piper has reopened with a delicious menu full of homecooked pub favourites, including a Sunday Lunch and a kids menu. They boast a wide range of drinks from cask ales to a dedicated gin bar and have a quality sports offer, kitted out with a pool table and a plethora of screens showing all key sporting events through Sky and BT Sports. As well as this they are looking forward to safely reintroducing events and themed nights including poker, quizzes and live entertainment, making The Piper the place to be for all the family.
