The Star Pub Reopens Following £500k Investment

The Star in South Harrow has re-opened its doors following an investment of over £500k by independent pub operators Punch Pubs & Co, with Management Partners Richard Fuller and Siobhan O’Dwyer taking the helm.

The Star has been transformed, hosting a magnificent, spacious bar area complemented with plenty of seating for a day filled with sinful indulgence. Defined by its elegantly cool exterior and finishings, The Star now provides a vibrant and stylish venue with just the right amount of sass and charm to turn any boozy brunch into that spontaneous late-night session.

Guests visiting The Star should arrive hungry and prepare for lashings of proper pub grub. Every dish is a thing of beauty and oozing with flavour, so roll up your sleeves and prepare to get your hands dirty (napkins on standby). All washed down with an impressive selection of high-quality beers, cocktails and spirits from the top shelf to suit any mood – there really is something for everyone!

After dark, The Star effortlessly metamorphosises into a venue that takes the atmosphere up a notch, featuring the latest in live music to compliment your late-night needs. It’s all perfectly packaged under one roof and placed within walking distance of some excellent public transport links – making the temptation to stay that much harder to resist.

Management partner Siobhan who’s lived locally for 20 years, said, “We are so excited to be re-opening The Star and unveiling its brand-new look. The buzz in the area is palpable as people in the community share in our excitement; we can’t wait to welcome guests back through the door. The Star is now the perfect place for any occasion and needs to be seen to be believed.”.

Punch Operations Director Robin Belither said, “We are extremely proud to be relaunching The Star after being dormant for so long. It’s got a stunning new look, and Richard and Siobhan are the perfect people to ensure it’s full of personality that welcomes all to stay and enjoy the electric atmosphere. We are delighted with the investment and I am confident we will provide South Harrow to be proud of.”
