The Three Little Pigs, a much-loved community pub in the heart of Crediton, has reopened, marking an exciting chapter after joining Punch Pubs & Co’s Management Partnerships division.

Following its reopening last week, the popular pub has benefited from a £175,000 investment and the arrival of new Management Partners, James and Heidi. The duo are committed to preserving the pub’s character, history and community spirit established by former landlady Sandra Wannacott and her late husband Maurice during their 30-year helm.

Rather than reinventing the pub, the investment has delivered a careful refresh, building on what already makes The Three Little Pigs special while maintaining its role as a welcoming hub.

Since they reopened the doors, James and Heidi have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback and support from the community. James said: “The reopening has gone really well so far – the locals are loving it, the team have been fantastic, and the menu is going down brilliantly. It’s always a challenge stepping into a venue with such a strong legacy, but the biggest compliment from our guests is that it feels the same, yet different. We’re really excited for the months ahead and focused on continuing to grow both the pub and the team.”

The light internal refresh has included a thoughtful reconfiguration of the bar and its drinks offering, while the pub’s distinctive memorabilia and antiques have been retained, celebrating the Three Little Pigs’ unique personality and charm.

Just in time for the summer months, the outdoor seating area has been revamped, while a newly finalised food menu offers midweek treats, lunch deals, and traditional Sunday roasts – ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

With a strong awareness of the pub’s heritage and its deep connection to the local community, James and Heidi have also engaged guests via social media to gather feedback on entertainment preferences, with plans for community events and live entertainment already in the pipeline.

More information about the pub’s reopening, upcoming plans and schedules can be found on the pub’s website and social media pages.
