Following a huge £340k investment by independent pub operators Punch Pubs & Co, the Three Tuns, in St. Keverne on the Lizzard, recently reopened its doors to reveal its stunning transformation with Management Partners Eve and Pete Busby taking the reins.

The historic Lizzard Inn has been finely tuned to offer guests an exquisite, yet authentic pub experience from start to finish. Internally, the pub’s picturesque bar and dining area has been enhanced to include ample, stylish seating options and stunning wood panelling throughout that amplifies the pub’s natural charm and rich atmosphere.

Guests will also appreciate a much improved, devoted dining space that creates intimate and inviting areas for groups of all sizes that perfectly complement the cuisine. Complete with a fresh new menu, featuring quintessential pub classics like hearty beef and ale pie alongside more decadent dishes like a spiced lamb short rib that are sure to leave guests spoilt for choice and raring to return.

And that’s not all, guests wishing to extend their stay now have the choice of two luxuriated experiences: the cosy home-away-from-home rooms within the pub or in the equally homely, yet rustic luxury bell tents. Equipped for the modern world and filled with all the home comforts needed for the ultimate glamping experience, complete with purpose-built private showering facilities and kitchenette within the field. Offering the perfect place for friends and families to add a glamourous glamping element to their trip to the Cornish countryside.

Experienced Management Partner Eve is a true local growing up in and around pubs on the Lizzard and feels hospitality is in her blood; following a short stint in teaching, she soon realised she missed the buzz of running a pub and the Three Tuns was the perfect opportunity for her to return to the role she loves most. Along with her husband Pete, she is keen to deliver the community and guests the perfect countryside pub experience. Eve said, “It’s an absolute pleasure to be able to offer such a beautiful and unique pub to the community. We are particularly proud of the fabulous bell tents which really set us apart for those looking to experience the true beauty of this part of the world. We cannot wait for everyone to come and experience all the pub has to offer.”

Punch Senior Operations Director Rupert Reeves says, “Reopening the Three Tuns is a very proud moment for Punch, it really encapsulates how individual all pubs are. The investment here has turned what was an already beautiful pub into an absolutely stunning one. We’re sure the local community and visitors to the area will equally as pleased and enjoy all Eve and Pete have to offer here for many years to come.”
